In short: cosmora.ch is a small corporate website. Its code does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, browser storage, embedded social media or remotely hosted fonts. We process technical access data needed to deliver the site and information you send when you contact us.

1. Controller and contact

ControllerCosmora Sàrl
Registered seatMontreux (VD), Switzerland
Registered addressRue de Bon-Port 3, 1820 Territet, Switzerland
UIDCHE-144.968.746
Emailinfo@cosmora.ch

Use the email address above for privacy questions or requests. We have not designated a separate data-protection contact or representative.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies only when you visit www.cosmora.ch or contact Cosmora through the details published there. Cosmora processes this data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Cosmora products process different data for different purposes. Their own notices apply instead. For example, Autoforsale publishes its marketplace privacy policy on the product itself.

If another data-protection law mandatorily applies to a particular interaction, any additional rights and obligations under that law remain unaffected.

3. Visiting the website

To send a page to your device and protect the hosting service, our web host receives technical request data. This normally includes your IP address, date and time, requested page or file, response status, amount of data transferred, browser and operating-system information, and the referring page if your browser provides it.

We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose faults, maintain security and investigate abuse. We do not use these logs to advertise to you or build a visitor profile.

The site and its access/error logs are hosted for us by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. Infomaniak states that web-hosting data is kept in its Swiss data centres and that web access and error logs are available for at least seven days. Relevant records may be preserved for longer when needed to investigate a concrete security incident, comply with law or establish legal claims.

4. Contacting us

The website provides a direct email link; it does not submit a web form or store draft messages. If you email us, we process your address, message, attachments, delivery metadata and any other information you choose to provide so that we can answer and manage the resulting correspondence.

This processing is necessary to take steps you request before a possible agreement or is based on our legitimate interest in answering genuine business, support, press and other enquiries. We do not add corporate-site contacts to a marketing list merely because they wrote to us.

Email is not necessarily end-to-end encrypted. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other highly sensitive material unless we have agreed on a suitable transfer method.

5. Cookies, browser storage and third-party content

The current website code sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage, session storage or similar browser storage. It contains no analytics or advertising pixels and loads no third-party fonts, videos, maps, chat tools or social-media widgets. You therefore do not see a cookie-consent banner on this site.

Links to other websites are ordinary links. Their operators receive data only if you choose to follow a link, and their own privacy information then applies. See our Cookie Notice for the current device-storage statement.

6. Recipients and processing locations

We disclose data only where it is needed for the purposes above:

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland) provides web hosting and email services and processes the related technical and message data for us.
  • Professional advisers and insurers may receive relevant information where necessary for accounting, legal advice, insurance or the establishment and defence of claims.
  • Authorities and courts receive information where disclosure is required by applicable law or a binding order.

The website and Cosmora mailbox data are hosted in Switzerland. Email can nevertheless pass through systems chosen by you or by the recipient. If we introduce a provider that processes corporate-site data in another country, we will update this policy and apply the safeguards required by Swiss law before that processing begins.

7. Retention and security

We keep data only while it is needed for its purpose:

  • website logs follow the hosting and security periods described in section 3;
  • routine enquiries are removed when the matter is closed and no follow-up, complaint or legal claim is reasonably expected;
  • records that become part of a contractual or accounting file are retained for the applicable statutory period, generally ten years for Swiss accounting records; and
  • records relevant to a dispute or security incident may be kept until the matter and related limitation periods have ended.

We and our providers use measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the data, including access restrictions and protected transmission and hosting. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please choose carefully what you send by email.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may ask whether we process personal data about you, request access or correction, request deletion or object to processing, and request release or transfer of data in a commonly used electronic format where the statutory requirements are met. You may also withdraw consent for future processing where a particular activity relies on consent.

Send a request to info@cosmora.ch. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. A request can be limited or refused where the law permits or requires us to retain data or protect another person's rights.

You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) about a suspected data-protection issue. Individual civil claims remain subject to the competent courts.

9. Changes to this policy

We will revise this page before materially changing how this website processes personal data. The date at the top identifies the current version.
